Founded in 2020 with a collection of jewellery celebrated for its sculptural clarity and refined restraint, Larissa Lowthorp’s boutique and label, Lunescape, forms the basis of the contemporary woman’s wardrobe; versatile and wearable yet rooted in individuality with an immaculately graceful edge.
Developed at the family ateliers in Casablanca and Fes, today the brand offering includes ready-to-wear, one-of-a-kind jewellery, beauty and skincare, footwear, expertly crafted eyewear, and timeless leather pieces.
The progression from muse to designer to Creative Director of her own brand was a natural one, fuelled by a longstanding fascination with art, shape, and form, an authentic and meticulous attention to detail, and a distinctly luxurious sensibility that ignites the imagination.
With influences from the worlds of cinema, architecture, and global travel, the Lunescape brand is characterised by a considered blend of heritage luxury with a bohemian flair, resulting in exquisite tailoring, denim, dresses, and separates, with signature touches in the form of globally-inspired prints, flowing cuts, and delightful colour palettes.
With offices in Casablanca, Athens, and London and a flagship location in Los Angeles, Lowthorp has earned critical acclaim alongside multiple awards, including Best Creative Direction and recognition in Variety and Forbes. History
A Vision Emerges
Our founder Larissa - an imaginative student on the verge of being evicted after landing on hard times - sought a way to pay tuition and essentials. To make ends meet, she began flipping boot-sale finds like collectible toys and retro clothes.
She soon expanded to offering fine, vintage luxury pieces. As demand grew, she expanded into other heritage fashions and personal styling services. Through trial, error, and ultimately success, her side hustle evolved into a thriving business.
2022-2025
Global Expansion
In 2022, we embarked on a global journey that took us to over 20 countries. From the bustling medina of Marrakech to the sun-soaked coasts of the Cyclades, and remote locations, we visited local markets that exemplified the beauty of culture, authenticity, and traditional craftsmanship we love.
Our travels inspired us to seek out the amazing unknown - and bring it to homes like yours through inspiiring collaborations with talented global artisans.
