Supplier Code of Conduct

At Lunescape, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, sustainability, and social responsibility. We expect our suppliers to share this commitment and adhere to the following principles:

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

   • Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to their operations. ​

2. Labor Practices

   • Employment is Freely Chosen: Suppliers shall not use forced, bonded, or involuntary labor. Workers must have the freedom to leave employment upon reasonable notice.​

   • Child Labor: Suppliers must not employ individuals below the ethical or legal minimum working age and should have policies to prevent child labor and human trafficking. 

   • Non-Discrimination: Employment decisions must be based on ability and not on personal characteristics or beliefs. Discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement is prohibited.​

   • Harsh or Inhumane Treatment: Physical abuse, threats of violence, sexual harassment, or other forms of intimidation are strictly prohibited. ​

3. Working Conditions

   • Health and Safety: Suppliers must provide a safe and hygienic working environment, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents and injury.​

   • Wages and Benefits: Compensation must meet or exceed the minimum legal standards and be sufficient to meet basic needs.​

   • Working Hours: Working hours must comply with national laws and not be excessive. Overtime should be voluntary and compensated appropriately

4. Freedom of Association

   • Suppliers shall respect the right of workers to join trade unions and bargain collectively without fear of harassment or retaliation.​

5. Environmental Responsibility

   • Suppliers are expected to minimize their environmental impact by adopting sustainable practices, reducing waste, and responsibly managing resources.​

6. Business Integrity

   • All forms of corruption, bribery, and unethical practices are prohibited. Suppliers must conduct business transparently and with integrity.​

7. Subcontracting

   • Suppliers must not subcontract any part of their obligations without prior written consent from Lunescape. All subcontractors must comply with this Code.​

8. Monitoring and Compliance

   • Lunescape reserves the right to conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with this Code. Suppliers are expected to provide access to facilities and relevant documentation.​

Implementation and Enforcement

Failure to adhere to this Supplier Code of Conduct may result in corrective actions, including potential termination of the business relationship. Lunescape is dedicated to working collaboratively with suppliers to achieve continuous improvement in ethical, social, and environmental performance.
