Toners are just not a step to cleansing before skin treatment, they can balance your PH levels on your skin, help to shrink pores, help minimize acne and sometimes are used to refresh and rejuvenate.

 

Why a toner? Toners give your skin hydration before applying serums or make up. Your skin wants moisture and if you are using any form of therapeutic products on your face, a toner will help your skin absorb those products better.

A spritz in the morning or a spray at night helps your skin stay hydrated and healthy.

Sweet Harvest Farms is introducing 4 Face Toners.

Zen – Light, not fussy. I would probably use this after work as soon as I remove my make up. Blend of Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Orange Blossom, Organic Oatstraw (calming ingredient & great for sensitive skin), Organic White Willow Bark (helps control acne) and Tea Tree Oil (because of its’ anti-bacterial properties), Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract to clean and refresh.

Of the Sea – Simply refreshing! Great to use before a night out on the town. Organic Aloe Juice, Sea Salt, Hyaluronic Acid ( to help alleviate  dry skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles), Organic Kelp (high in anti-oxidants), Organic Blue Green Algae (contains fatty acids and antioxidants that work down deep to help firm and tighten your skin), Organic White Willow Bark (to ward off acne), Tea Tree Leaf Oil (has anti-bacterial properties), Vitamin E, and Rosemary Extract to clean and refresh.

Rose Water – Has a mild rose scent. Organic Aloe Juice (Hydrating aloe vera juice may help reduce the frequency and appearance of acne, psoriasis or dermatitis) Rose Flower Water, Vitamin E, and Rosemary Extract

Peppermint – We didn’t forget about the men!! Pick me up in the morning or just before the evening outing! Organic Aloe Juice, Organic Peppermint Leaf, (Nutrients in peppermint leaves help tone the skin, minimize pores, reduce swelling and restore skin elasticity.

Vitamins A and C are powerful antioxidants that fight inflammation appearing in the form of red marks on the skin. B vitamins, riboflavin, and folate, brighten the complexion)n Organic White Willow Bark Extract, Organic Bilberry Fruit Extract, Organic Maple, Organic Orange Peel, Organic Lemon Peel, Organic Cranberry (acts as an exfoliant and to help boost collagen production. Does not contain free radicals which may cause wrinkles). Vitamins, A, C and E., Rosemary Extract to clean and refresh.

How to Use

Step 1. Wash your face first, preferably with Sweet harvest Farms Handmade organic soap. Use warm water to remove dirt and impurities. Rinse well with warm water followed by a splash. Gently blot your face with a paper towel.

Step 2. Spray some toner on a cotton pad or cotton ball until damped but not soaked. I prefer cotton pads as this will help save some toner because it wont soak as much up as a cotton ball might.

Step 3. Gently swipe the cotton pad with toner over your face and neck.  Avoid the area around your eyes and don't get product on your lips. Remember to get as close tot he hairline as possible, the sides of your nose and near the ears.

You can also lightly mist or spritz a the for extra moisture but it is best to wipe away impurities on your skin first.

Let your toner dry for a few minutes before applying other products such as acne products, moisturizer or foundation.
